The QUV simulates the effect of sunlight with fluorescent ultraviolet(UV)lamps,while it simulates rain and dew with condensing hmidity ou water spray.in a few days or weeks,the QUVcan reproduce the damage that occurs over months or years outdoors.Types of damage include fading,color change,chalking,cracking,crazing,emdrittlement,strength loss......etc.Thetest data can help in the selection of new materials,the improvement of existing materials or the evaluation of how changes in formulations affect product durability.
